Descripción del Tour:
Embark on your journey around 08:00 am, commencing with a pick-up from your centrally located hotel in El Chaltén. We depart from the town, journeying 17 km by car to the Sanctuary of Laguna Cóndor.
Upon arrival at the sanctuary, our trek commences through an enchanting Lengas forest, which guides us upwards. After an hour's journey, we encounter a vast rocky landscape, which also leads us to the ascent of San Roque hill. Our chosen path will be the Loma del Diablo, a route that takes us along the ridge stretching between the Maipo River and the Clarillo River. Without a predefined trail, our path will lead us to the summit along the mountain's edge, a low-difficulty climb. The Loma del Diablo is known for its broad surfaces and varying inclines, making it suitable for all skill levels.
Following a two-hour climb, we reach the summit, perched 1200 meters above sea level. Here, we'll take a break to enjoy lunch and appreciate the awe-inspiring panoramic views offered by the summit. To the northwest, you'll discover Purgatorio Hill, westwards lies the Cerro Blanco, and a vast expanse of the metropolitan Andes can be seen, stretching from Cerro la Paloma to Castillo hill.
At around 2 p.m., we begin our descent along the same mountain sector towards Laguna Cóndor Refuge. Here, after approximately 7 hours and 20 km of trekking, we take a final break to enjoy a snack and a warm beverage.
